Magician Circle is not that bad of a card but I fear too many cards could destroy it quickly. I am keeping my Gemini Elf the way they are because of too many annoying defenders.

It could be any monster for direct attack. It only works until end of turn anyways. There are counters to that also. So don't underestimate what the opponent has.
