Can someone please help me. I am at the pokemon tower and I'm at the foot of the stairs where I need to go up and battle and save Mr. Fugi to get the flute. But there is a ghost that stops me from being able to get up the stairs. It will not let me battle this ghost. Am I missing something I need to get past this ghost to get upstairs?? Can someone help me please!!

all you need to do is go to saffron and beat team rocket at the tall building in the middle and you will get a silph scope which helps you see invisible pokemon like the marowak....
